Agreement means the quotation, acceptance and the following terms and conditions.

Work or works means private training sessions, half day and/or day trains, boarding, group classes. It may also describe other services such as administrative, training meetings and other tasks which are necessary in the creation of the program.

Alix & the Pack means Alix & the Pack ApS and it can also extend to Alexandra Kim Sharp, Natalie Buhl-Nielsen, and Fanni Claudia Kertesz.

The Client means the individual who requested the work.

Service fees
Client agrees to pay Trainer the service fee within seven days of the invoice being sent after each session.
​
Dog's health
Client warrants that Dog is physically fit and in good health, and free of fleas, parasites and infectious diseases. Client has an active Insurance for their dog that covers medical expenses.

Restrictions on Carrying Weights & Pets
Per the guidelines outlined in At-vejledning D.3.1, employees are strictly prohibited from transporting dogs or equipment exceeding 10 kilograms in weight, inclusive of traversing stairs, whether ascending or descending.

Copyright
All material, both text and images included in documents are the property of Alix & the Pack.
Alix & the Pack holds copyright of all work created.

Photo release
Client grants to Trainer, and/or its representatives and employees, the right to take photographs of Client's Dog, and to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. Client agrees that Trainer may use such photographs of Client's Dog with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.

Dog training services
Trainer agrees to provide private lessons for Client and Dog on a lesson-by-lesson basis, the goal being to teach Client how to train and work with Dog. Trainer will make every reasonable effort to help Client achieve training and behaviour modification goals but makes no guarantee of Dog’s performance or behavior as a result of providing professional animal behaviour consultation. Client understands that he/she and members of the household must follow Trainer’s instructions without modification, work with dog daily as recommended, and constantly reinforce training being given to Dog.​

Private Courses
The Puppy Course, The Reactivity Course, The Separation Anxiety Course, The Anxious Rescue Dog Course, The Demanding Dog Course & the Back to Basics Course all have a expiry date. The expiration date depends on the course code provided, and you can find it in your booking login.

Use of Tools
At Alix and the Pack, we utilise various training tools such as slip collars and prong collars when deemed necessary for effective training. If you are uncomfortable with the use of these tools, we respectfully acknowledge that our services may not be the right fit for your needs.

Cancellation Policy
If Client fails to give at least 24 hours cancellation notice, or is not present at time of scheduled appointment, session fees are still due. For a package deal, the session will still be counted as one session.

Boarding
1. Health and Vaccinations:
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and be in overall good health.
Proof of vaccinations must be provided before the start of boarding.
2. Emergency Veterinary Care:
In the event of a medical emergency, every effort will be made to contact the owner. However, the owner authorises Alix & the Pack to seek veterinary care for the dog, and all associated costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
3. Behaviour and Socialisation:
Alix & the Pack reserves the right to refuse or terminate services to any dog exhibiting aggressive or harmful behaviour towards staff, other dogs in our care or property.
4. Personal Belongings:
Owners are encouraged to provide familiar items such as bedding, toys and food for their dogs during the boarding period.
Alix & the Pack is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
5. Pick-up and Drop-off:
Dogs should be dropped off and picked up between the hours of 08:00-18:00, exact time should be organised with Alix & the Pack.
For drop-off and pick-up outside of these hours the client will be charged an extra night.
6. Communication:
Owners are responsible for providing accurate contact information, and Alix & the Pack will communicate important updates or concerns via the provided contact details.
7. Photography and Social Media:
Alix & the Pack may take photographs of dogs during their stay for promotional purposes unless the owner explicitly requests otherwise.
8. Standby or Reserved Boarding:
We do not offer "standby boarding" or accept "reserved spot" requests for uncertain or tentative situations, such as pending travel plans, medical procedures, or life events (e.g., childbirth). All boarding arrangements must be confirmed with exact dates in advance and are subject to availability.
By using Alix & the Pack Dog Boarding Service, you agree to these terms and conditions. Alix & the Pack reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

Release of Liability and Indemnification
Client expressly acknowledges and understands that Trainer’s services will be provided in an environment where certain hazards may exist, including, but not limited to, debris in the training area, other animals and their owners, training equipment, water, and other natural hazards. Client expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Trainer and Trainer’s agents and to pay all losses and damages suffered or incurred, and to defend and indemnify Trainer and Trainer’s agents from any claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs or expenses, including attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with the provision of Trainer’s services to Client and/or Dog. If Dog causes property damage, or bites or injures any dog, animal or person (including but not limited to Trainer and Trainer’s agents), during or after the term of this Agreement, then Client agrees to pay all resulting losses and damages suffered or incurred, and to defend and indemnify Trainer and Trainer’s agents from any resulting claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs or expenses, including attorney fees. If Dog is injured in a fight or in any other manner during or after the term of the Agreement, Client assumes the risk and agrees that Trainer should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses.

Refund Policy
There are no refunds for any services we offer at Alix & the Pack.

Rental Services
1. Condition of Equipment
The Renter acknowledges that the equipment is in good, working condition at the time of rental. The Renter agrees to inspect and report any damages prior to use. Any pre-existing damages must be noted on this form to avoid charges upon return.
2. Usage of Equipment
The Renter agrees to use the equipment solely for its intended purpose and handle it responsibly and carefully. The equipment should not be loaned or rented to another person without written consent from Alix and the Pack.
3. Return Policy
- The Renter is responsible for returning the equipment by the specified date.
- Late returns will incur a daily late fee of 100 DKK in addition to the daily rental rate.
4. Damage, Loss, or Theft
- The Renter is responsible for the equipment’s safety and condition during the rental period.
- Any damages, loss, or theft of the equipment will require immediate notification to Alix and the Pack, and the Renter will be liable for repair or replacement costs, as determined by the current market value of the equipment.
- In cases of theft, the Renter must file a police report and provide a copy to Alix and the Pack. Failure to do so may result in the full replacement charge.
5. Maintenance and Repairs
- Routine maintenance and repairs due to normal wear are the responsibility of Alix and the Pack.
- If the equipment malfunctions during use, the Renter must contact Alix and the Pack immediately. Unauthorized repairs are not permitted.
- If it is determined that the malfunction was caused by misuse, the Renter will be responsible for repair costs.
6. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
- The Renter acknowledges that using the equipment may involve certain risks, including injury or property damage. The Renter assumes full responsibility for any risks associated with its use.
- Alix and the Pack is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of the Renter’s use of the equipment.
7. Termination of Rental Agreement
- Alix and the Pack reserves the right to terminate this rental agreement at any time if the Renter fails to comply with any terms outlined in this agreement or if misuse of the equipment is suspected.
- In the event of termination, the Renter must immediately return the equipment and will not be entitled to a refund of any rental fees already paid.

Client Key Possession

Purpose and Use
The keys are retained solely for the purpose of accessing the client’s property to provide agreed-upon services. Unauthorised use of the keys for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. -
Security of Keys
Keys will be stored securely at all times when not in use. Access to client keys is restricted to authorised personnel only. Staff members are trained in handling and safeguarding client keys responsibly. -
Duplication and Modification
Duplication or modification of client keys is strictly forbidden. Under no circumstances will keys be copied, altered, or passed to any third party without prior written consent from the client. -
Liability and Loss
While all reasonable care will be taken to prevent loss or damage, the company accepts no liability for issues arising from factors outside of reasonable control. In the unlikely event that a key is lost, the client will be notified immediately, and the company will assist in resolving any resulting issues. -
Key Handover and Return
Keys will be returned to the client or designated party on the agreed handover date or upon termination of services. If the key is not collected within 28 days, it will be returned via secure mail, or other agreed-upon method, at the client’s expense. -
Termination of Agreement
Upon termination of services, all keys in possession will be promptly returned to the client or securely destroyed upon written consent from the client. -
Acceptance of Terms
By entrusting the company with property keys, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
