What is the difference between a Structured Training Walk and a Regular Walk?

A Regular Walk is designed to allow your dog to perform natural activities such as peeing, pooing, enjoying fresh air, sniffing, and stretching their legs. This is all done through walking on a short leash, then switching them to a long or flexi line to provide more freedom to run around. On Regular Walks we engage in a bit of recall practice and offer some playtime. The duration is 45 minutes, and although there is no active training involved during this time, we believe in the continuous training of your dog, as learning never truly stops. On the other hand, Structured Training Walks (STWs) are scheduled weekly sessions with a significant focus on training. We teach your dog new behaviours, and STWs are held by one of our trainers.

How do I book a Regular Walk?

First you book a Meet & Greet, and following that, you can book a Regular Walk through our website at your convenience.

13

Can I attend Structured Training Walks?

Structured Training Walks are not for you to come along to. We might invite you if both you and our trainer feels it’s necessary, otherwise these walks are without your presence. You receive comprehensive feedback, following each walk, highlighting areas for improvement and celebrating achievements.

14

Do you supply food for my dog on your walks, or should I prepare the meals?

All our trainers bring food on their Structured Training Walks and to their sessions, that is given to each dog. During Regular Walks we kindly ask you to provide food for your dog, as it is not included in the service. The food we offer is provided by our partners like Mæt Pets, Essential Foods and Pala Pets. We aim to work together only with high quality dog food brands. If your dog has allergies or specific dietary requests, feel free to reach out to us, and we can have a discussion about your food preferences for your pet.

15

Can I talk to and meet like-minded people who also train at Alix & the Pack?

At Alix & the Pack we aim to build a community, therefore we offer a platform where you can interact with fellow dog owners. You can set up neutrality training meet-ups individually or we can help you find a match. Additionally, we offer free pack walks and group trainings for our members throughout Copenhagen.

16

Is providing my personal data necessary when booking a service?

It is very important to provide your personal information when you book at Alix & the Pack. We assure you that we will handle your data confidentially, utilising it solely for the purpose of providing necessary information related to bookings or payments.

17

Can I see training videos and pictures of your walks?

If you wish to learn more before booking your first session or walk with us, you can find information about how we approach training your dog on our website, under the ‘Our Method’ tab. For visual content please follow us on Instagram (@alixandthepack), where we regularly share images and videos showcasing our walks and how members of our community engage in training.

After the Structured Training Walks, you can expect to find training videos, pictures, and feedback on our team chat, established between you and our trainer. However, for Regular Walks, we won't provide training videos; instead, you'll receive footage of your dog enjoying their time with us.
